TEPOTZOTLN
lies en route from the capital to Tula, and while you'll have to take a couple of buses, it is quite possible to visit the two on one long day from the metropolis. Having said that, Tepotzotln is easily close enough to the city to be a morning's excursion, though once you're there you may find the place seduces you into staying longer. The town is small and thoroughly Mexican-colonial, and the trees, hills and slow pace make a wonderful antidote to the big-city blues.
