Twelve kilometres east of Port-Louis, a large bridge spans the broad estuary of the Etel river. A short detour north of the village of Belz on the eastern shore brings you to the delightful islet of
ST-CADO
, a speck on the water dotted with perhaps twenty white-painted houses.
From the mainland, you walk across a spindly little bridge to reach the island itself.
