SIBOLGA
is the main port for ferries to Gunung Sitoli on Nias. All
buses
and bemos call in at the terminus on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, at the back of the town away from the coast. The port for
ferries to Nias
- as well as the occasional Pelni boat from Padang - is about 1.5km south of here at the end of Jalan Horas. Three companies run ferries to Gunung Sitoli: Jambo Jet (KM Cucit/Poncan Moale; and Sumber Rezeki.
