A few kilometres from Cobn,
SAN PEDRO CARCH
is a smaller version of Cobn, with silver instead of coffee firing the economy and a stronger Maya character. These days the two towns are merging into a single urban sprawl, and many of the buses that go on towards Petn, or even over to Uspantn, leave from Carch. Local buses between Cobn and Carch leave from the terminal in Cobn and from the plaza in Carch.
