(Ron), connected by local bus #6 to Ptra in thirty minutes (or by train in ten, though with a long walk from the station to the harbour), signals the beginning of swimmable water, though most travellers stop here only to make use of the
ferry
across the gulf to Andrio - which will be replaced in a few years by a suspension bridge.
