PUNTA BETE
is little more than a beach, several restaurants and a couple of small hotels, though there's now a big, expensive resort further down the beach towards Playa del Carmen. The beach is nowhere near as beautiful as those in Cancn or Playa del Carmen though it does have the advantage of being uncrowded and for the most part undeveloped.
