To Do And See : Statue of Liberty in Paris
A strange sight awaits you next to the Port de Grenelle where there is a small version of the NY Statue of Liberty. Some US immigrants in Paris erected it on the bridge over the Seine about 1.5 km from the Tour d'Effel. It is about 35ft high.

Going Out : Watch for your change!
Some bars have a crafty little technique of getting more tips. After you pay for your drinks they bring you an ash tray and place it on the table. If you forget they have not given you your change they get away with it. If you do remind them they simply point to the ash tray which has your change cunningly hidden under a flap in the ash tray!

Getting Around : Metro
To get around the metro is pretty easy even thought the maps are very complex. You just pay a one -way - there doesn't seem to be the equivalent of a return, or buy a carnet of 10 tickets. The price last time was 1 euro 30 for pretty well anywhere.

To Do And See : Napoleons tomb
Try and get to the emperor Napoleons tomb in Paris. In 1840 his remains were taken back to France from St. Helena and a memorial was built for his final resting place. You can see the giant sarcophagus there. Set in Les Invalides, Louis XIV built the tomb as a hospital for injured soldiers in the first place. The grounds house the famous French war museum. This is a must-see. The picture is of sprawling Paris..
