OCOSINGO
makes a good place to escape the tourist crowds of San Cristbal or Palenque. It's not as pretty as San Cristbal, but it's certainly a great deal more attractive than Palenque, its streets lined with single-storey, red-tiled houses and the air thick with the scent of wood smoke.
