NA POTDHEA
, some 6km beyond Na Moudhani and across the ancient canal which severs the narrow neck of Kassndhra, is a bit of an eyesore like all of the coastal refugee settlements. The seafront promenade resembles a mini-Coney Island/Blackpool with its mechanical animals, and fast-food joints alternating with bars. This accepted, the front is in fact pedestrianized and well landscaped, and the beach itself broad, sandy and reef-free. Greek families rent summer apartments here long-term, making it a poor bet for a quick overnight, while an otherwise fairly young crowd lends a laid-back feel.
