| To get to the rice terraces in Banaue I got myself a driver to take me there and back. A 300 mile round trip only cost about $US30 ! Go to any hotel and ask - they should have a list of drivers. |

| In the centre of Manilla is a bar staffed by 'midgets'. Although this might not be particularly 'PC' it is a groovy bar with a safe atmosphere. Bands play some nights. |
