If you're hunting for a place to stay,
LMNI
, on the west coast 19km from Strofili, is by far the most practical and attractive base north of Halkdha. The largely Neoclassical, tile-roofed town, built from the wealth engendered by nineteenth-century shipping prowess, is the most appealing on the island, with serviceable beaches and a famous convent nearby.
