The biggest, brashest, least traditional beach resort in Bali, the KUTA-LEGIAN-SEMINYAK conurbation is just 10km southwest of Denpasar. Packed with hundreds of hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs and shops, the six-kilometre strip plays host to several hundred thousand visitors a year and yet, for all its hustle, it remains a very good-humoured place, almost completely unsleazy.
