Just beyond the northern end of Golden Sands,
KRANEVO
is a rapidly expanding village sitting at the southern tip of a glorious curve of beach which extends onwards towards the mega-resort of Albena, some 4km distant. Kranevo's growing number of private rooms and family-run hotels make it a useful budget alternative to its more package-oriented neighbour, although there is very little here in the way of sights or entertainment, and construction work is ongoing: you can walk along the sands to Albena if you fancy using the facilities there.
