Don't be confused by the large numbers of different bank notes in Northern Ireland.There are 4 main banks - Ulster Bank,First Trust Bank,Northern Bank and Bank Of Ireland.English and Scottish currency is also accepted but strangely enough Northern Irish bank notes are not legal tender in England
