Mount ti
is one of the most beautiful of Greek mountains - its green northeast slopes constituting a national park - and also unusually accessible by Greek standards. There are buses almost hourly from Lama to Ipti, the usual trailhead; if you arrive by train, these can be picked up en route at Lama's "local" station, Lianokldhi, 6km from the town. Be sure not to get off the bus at the sulphurous spa of Loutr Iptis, 5km north of and below Ipti proper.
