| Guardemar has an excellent, busy, bustling market, usually on a Wednesday. Whilst the market is well patronised by tourists you will also find a great number of Spaniards using it. This reflects the type of town that Guardemar is. There are some tourists there but it is essentially a Spanish town unlike Alicante to the north which is aimed mainly at the tourist.
Guardemar's beach is long and clean with good sand. Have a look at the spectacular sand sculptures during the tourist season. |
