GHORABANDA
is locally famous for its
potters
. It's just off the Siddhartha Highway, 3km north of the Tansen turning, but without your own wheels you'll have to walk. Take the dirt road from the Amar Narayan temple towards the United Mission Hospital, bear right onto a trail after about 500m, descend and then contour through extensive paddy - if you've done it right, you'll drop down to the highway after about 2km, with Ghorabanda another 1km further along the road.
