Be careful on the streets of Paris. They don't stop for you! The scooters are the worst and will just go straight through a pedestrian crossing even if the light is red and people are crossing.

To Do And See : View of the Eiffel Tower
For a good view of the Eiffel Tower at night which is illuminated go to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. A better view you won't find.

Getting Around : There are ...
There are various types of rail passes which can save you lots of money while in france. For 3 days of unlimited travel try the SNCF pass. There is also a rail & drive option which lets you have your car put on the back open carriages when you have had enough of driving!

Dangers : The language
Whatever you do try to at least get a grasp of the basics of the language before you go. The French are still very sore with Nelson and are clinging to the hope that one day French will be the International language. Don't expect any kind of respect otherwise.
