FINIKONDA
, 18km west of Korni, is a small fishing village with a superb cove-beach plus another to the east, and a gigantic strand to the west. Over recent years it gained a reputation as a backpackers' - and especially windsurfers' - resort, with half the summer intake at a trio of campsites on either side of the village, the others housed in a variety of rooms including some taken by British package companies. It can be a fun, laid-back place.
