FABRIANO
is now heavily industrialized and a dismal town at first sight. You're most likely to pass through on your way on to Umbria and Rome, and frankly there's little reason to stop off unless it's to visit the Museum of Paper and Watermarks (Tues-Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-noon & 4-7pm; L6500/?3.36), housed in the ex-convent of San Domenico.
