Eleven kilometres east of Las Terrenas, and little more than a crossroads with a few shacks attached, dusty
El Limn
seems unpromising at first, but does make an ideal base for excursions to the magnificent El Limn waterfall to the south. Upon arrival you'll be beset by several local
buscones
trying to steer you to one of the excursion outfits; the best is Casa Santi, just south of the crossroad on the road to Saman. The
waterfall
