DEVIL'S BRIDGE
(Pontarfynach), twelve miles east of Aberystwyth, a tiny settlement built solely for the growing visitor trade of the last few hundred years. Be warned, how ever, that Devil's Bridge is a seriously popular day excursion: in order to escape some of the inevitable congestion, it is wisest to come here at the beginning or end of the day, or out of season.
