| The largest mosque outside of Saudi Arabia, the Hassan II Mosque is on the Boulevard Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah in Casablanca.
It was a gift to King Hassan II for his 60th birthday., It houses a museum, steam baths, a library, a school and others. It has capacity for 25000. Its minaret is the tallest religious structure in the world! It is well worth a visit even for non muslims. Guided tours are availiable. |
