Extract from the Bhairawa (Siddhartha Nagar) Travel Guides: Half an hour south by bus, BHAIRAWA (officially, the name has been changed to SIDDHARTHA NAGAR , but it's not catching on) is a virtual rerun of Butwal. The bazaar, west of the main roundabout on the Siddhartha Highway, supports a sizeable minority of Muslim traders and, like so many border towns, exists primarily to peddle imported goods to acquisitive Indians. Its only recommendation is that it's better than Sonauli.
