ANTONINA
has all the atmosphere of a town that has long since become an irrelevance. As ships grew larger and access to Antonina's harbour was restricted by silt, the town abandoned its role as Paran's main port and entered a long period of stagnation. Due to its decline, many of Antonina's eighteenth- and nineteenth-century buildings have largely been saved from the developers, leaving the town with a certain dilapidated, backwater charm.
